As I return from winter break to the mundane day-to-day of school, Part of me cant help but ponder if there may be a change on the horizon.

Having witnessed the recent assassination on the internet, and the subsequent countrywide reaction to the killing of the United Healthcare CEO, the news day-to-day, hell, having read On Tyranny, It really leaves me wondering. As my country devolves more into upright oligarchy, as the playbook opens, hell. What is going to happen when the President re-elect opens his nonconsecutive 2nd term with "shock and awe?"

Perhaps many would think me unreasonable for thinking such things, but it reads like... like something bad truly will happen this time. It feels like a man with a bruised ego getting a second chance to take power, and now he can better understand how to skirt the checks and balances put in place by our country. Now he can exact revenge.

I hope I'm wrong. For the sake of all of us.
